750ml bottle from Ross on Wye. Opened with a pop. Yellowy gold colour, short-lived bubbly white foam head and aroma of apple, skin, horseblanket funk. Taste is sweetish, appley, wood barrel, oaky, vanilla, with leathery, barnyard funky notes and drying earthy tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry funky tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 17 July 2026) Pale golden colour with no head. Fruity, funky nose with notes of green apples, barnyard, yeast and herbs. Fruity, tart taste with apples, apple skin, barnyard, herbs and a dry and tannic finish. A ligth bitterness shining through. Medium body, dry. Dry, acidic and rich. Very nice.

Taste is sweetish & sourish, perry pear, woody, tart funky, with some citric acidity and drying tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry funky peary acidic & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

(Bottle) Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with foamy white head. Fruity, slightly funky nose with red apples, oak wood, hay, citrus peel and marzipan. Fruity, tart taste with notes of red apples, oak wood, marzipan, citrus peel, a touch of smoke and a generous acidity in the finish. Medium body, dry. Dry, tart and woody. Lots of character. Nice one.

Bag in box at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Rich baked apple aromas, splash of sultanas. Smooth baked apple taste. Unsurprisingly dry. Goes down nicely.

Bag in box direct from the cidery to my hoose. It pours clear pale gold with a some bubbles. The aroma is sweet - sour, crisp, crunchy apple, apple pie with custard, frangipane, tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, mustard, sweaty and farmyard filth. The taste is initially pretty smooth and fruity, then switches to bone dry and tannic, white wine , dry wood, apple skin, spicy, leathery, some funk, mango, pineapple, gooseberry and well hidden alcohol with drying and tanning finish. Medium body and soft mouth feel. Interesting and quaffable.
