Dark brown with a frothy, light beige head. Aroma of caramel, raisins, chocolate cake. Taste is bittersweet with a herbal bitterness accompanying a big, sweet, malty base. Body to the full side of medium, moderate carbonation, chewy. Nicely balanced. Pleasant!

Flesje thuis gedronken. Donkerbruin robijnachtige kleur met mooie schuimkraag die als een film blijft liggen. Aroma van donker fruit en krieken. Smaak is zoet, fruitig en licht sprankelend. Nasmaak is ietsje bitter.

(bottle 0,33l from topvino.cz online shop) Overall: Nice Belgian stout (or Stout Dubbel Hybrid as label says). Pleasant fruits-chocolate-spicy combination. Aroma: Dark fruits, chocolate, caramel, spicy. Appearance: Clear dark brown color. Medium pale brown head. Taste: Medium sweet, malt, chocolate, caramel, dark fruits, light alcohol, light roasted malt. Palate: Medium body. Light roasty-dry finish.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 12 Aug 2023) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with frothy white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of bread, grain, banana, peaches, clove and coriander. Malty, slightly fruity taste with bread, wheat, citrus, grass, coriander and banana. Low bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and refreshing witbier. Nice one.

Bottle 33cl. from the Landmarkt @home poured into a teku glass. Hazy pale amber colour, small off-white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma toasted malt, caramel, some banana, yeast, honey, coriander, yeast. Taste light heavy sweet and light bitter, toffee, spicy notes, yeast notes. Above medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, lingering sweetbitter aftertaste with hopbitter notes giving it a bit coarse impression, alcohol well-hidden, nice.
