Description
Founded in December 2013 by a team of local Floridians, Saltwater Brewery is Delray Beach's first local production microbrewery, with tasting room and beer garden on sight. Using only pure and natural ingredients, each style of handcrafted beer and corresponding name is inspired by the ocean to reflect the lifestyle and passion of the Founders. Saltwater’s goal is to maintain the world’s greatest wonder by giving back through ocean based charities (CCA, Surfrider, Ocean Foundation, MOTE) and the Edible Six Pack Rings. Over 12 styles are typically available in the tasting room, while Screamin’ Reels IPA, Sea Cow Milk Stout and LocAle, are distributed in cans and on tap throughout the state of Florida. Packaging is done on-site with the brewery’s in-house canning line, as well as their new in-line labeler for seasonal and special releases.
Our passion for making quality beer for you is the way we can ensure we give back to the ocean as much as possible! Come with us to "Explore the Depths of Beer". Cheers!

Approximately 4 oz draft as part of a four beer sampler at the brewery in Delray Beach, Florida. The pour is a chilled haze gold yellow. The aroma is faint, what is there is some dry floral hop. The taste is floral bitter along with toasted malt. Bit dirty in the back. The palate is light bodied with low carbonation and an herbal grass finish. Just ok seemed like a slightly hoppier golden ale.

Approximately 4 oz draft as part of a four beer sampler at the brewery in Delray Beach, Florida. The pour is a hazed golden with a smallish white head. The aroma is bitter dry floral along with some earth and resin. The taste is big bitter right away, along with the resin, the floral and finally the cracker malt. Nice integration of flavors, though bitter resin is certainly the focus. The palate is medium bodied with a soft creamy mouhtfeel and the dry bitter resin finish. Nice beer, my favorite of the sampler.

Approximately 4 oz draft as part of a four beer sampler at the brewery in Delray Beach, Florida. The pour is clear golden with not much off white head. The aroma is faint cracker malt along with a bit of grass. The taste is a blend of floral earth and the cracker malt character. Decently fresh, just not much of a pop to the flavor. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft to flat carbonation and a clean finish.

Approximately 4 oz draft as part of a four beer sampler at the brewery in Delray Beach, Florida. The pour is a hazed yellow orange with a bit of a white head. The aroma is spice, fruit sweet with a wheat character. Hint of lemon peel as the beer warmed. The taste is the yeast notes of coriander and clove, wheat, then the fresh fruit sweet notes come out in the finish. The palate is medium bodied, unfiltered mouthfeel with a bunch of floral and clove in the finish. Solid.
