2015 can, drunk 11/20/15.
Deep golden-copper liquid is quite hazy with a small white ring of bubbles atop.
Rich apple sugars, holiday spicing and light caramel/toffee accents in the nose. There’s a bit of buttercream from the oak chips, but they aren’t heavily apparent. Vanilla, honey, caramel and spice lingering. No alcohol or flaws.
Sweet and spicy, for sure, but there’s a richness to the sweetness that is much more authentic than most cheap, sugary, syrupy ciders. The spices taste real, as well, and are not overdone, but give a good pepperiness and dryness to the cider. Light butter toffee and vanilla with hints of toastiness from the oak chips. Soft, nearly creamy consistency with a medium-full body and low but tight carbonation. Quite impressed. Very happy to try more of their stuff. Looks like they do a lot of interesting things.

Tap at stags head as realized I had no cash so had to get a flight to get minimum card balance. Light yellow pour. Nose is sweet pressed apples. Tastes of apple juice, pear, white grapes. Semi sweet. Watery and not bitter or dry enough for my taste.

Draft @ BCTC, Ommegang Brewery. August, 8, 2015. Crystal clear gold. Aroma is pressed apples, watered down pineapple, sugar.
Lots of sweetness but not overly so. Off putting sulfur in the finish. I like the cranberry from this cidery much more. Drinkable except for the sulfur.

Can sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Ariel’s friend! Greenish yellow lemonade color. Weird aroma, quite stinky, with sulphur and some apples. Sweet-sourish flavor with honey, overripe apples, a bit of citrus, and sulphur. Weird.
