5.8% ABV version Medium, dense & stable yellowish head, fed by fine carbonation in hazy orangey golden beer. Sweet malts, bit grassy and herbal aromas. Bitterish - mild but present at the onset, then sweeter malts and grains. Faint herbal and greenery flavours, sweet herbs; laurel/bay leaf, strengthening warming up, and the appearance of a light acidity. Light body, good carbonation, bit gristslick. Nothing special, and nothing wrong either. Wondering what Debbie Harry would think of that...

Bottle. Clear golden. Coriander and yeast, a bit watery maltbase because of the wheat and oats, apple, close ves, alcohol, light plastic. Medium sweet and a bit less bitter. Medium bodied, bit thin and boozy. Not greatz and not like the classic full bodied IJ beers.

Gold with a fleeting head. Subdued aroma promises grains with lemon zest. Taste is mildly bitter with hints of metal and peppery spicing at the finish. Light bodied, moderate watery texture. Has a workmanlike, uninspired feel. Drinkable.

Bottle from the Jumbo in Arnhem. Deep gold with a frothy, white head. Coriander, orange peel aroma with a touch of bubblegum. Taste is bitter with some mild acidity. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. No sign of the 8%, and there’s only the faintest warmth. Decent.
