12oz can pours a cola brown with some off white head. Nose smells like crayon, earthy, sugary, nutty, molasses, tootsie rolls. Flavor has more nuts but not quite peanut butter, almond, sesame too, toast, malt, molasses. Finishes medium bodied, more of a peanut lick here. 6 3 7 4 12

Thanks to drfabulous: pours yellow haze with white head. Aroma is dank citrus. Quite nice. Taste is pretty solid at the front. Nice citrus, juicy, not too sweet. Finish is a little off. Kind of like hop pellets... or something that I cannot quite place... still a solid beer, but as the doctor notes below, this was their first go at the style.

Tap at CYO. Pours a hazy gold with a a half finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Good lacing throughout. Light grainy nose. Lemon candy and mineral water on the palate. Spritzy carbonation. Bone dry finish w/ a lingering tonic water feel. A little too well-attenuated for a hefe...more of wheat ale / belgian blonde hybrid. Still have yet to find an american brewer who can make a proper hefe. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hefeweizen on 09 Mar 2017 at 23:11 - Score: 6. Original review text: Light grainy nose. On tap Pours a very dark brown with moderate white head Aromas of dusty dark chocolate, ash,and dry roasted malts. Flavors of same very dry heavily roasted malts. Can’t get the oatmeal smoothness - more of a dry stout. Nice.

Tap. Pours a clear golden, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma is pretty much lemon and sour mash. Flavor is light plus sour, lemony, lactic acid, grains. Light body. Not bad, tastes a lot like a kettle sour with not really a lot going on other than the lacto.

Tap. Pours clear pale amber, small off-white head, decent lacing. Aroma is nice, grapefruit, pine, perfume, hints of mango. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter. Pretty good body for a session, then you realize that its 5%, which is pretty high for a session. Enigma explained. All in all a solid IPA.
