In 2022, we decided to join forces with Hedonis Brewery and start a new brewing site in Michelbeke, in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes.

(Bottle) Good looking beer on first pour. Pours black brown with ruby highlights and big loose tan head which disappears fairly quickly. Great complex aroma with tangy fruity hops, chocolate, dark roast malt. Light body with mouth filling carbonation. Taste has a tangy start, quickly joined by dark roast malt and chocolate, which give way in the finish to a mix of hop bitterness and burnt sugar bitterness. The finish is a bit brutal for my taste, but this is overall an unusual and enjoyable beer.

Bottled at Ambasada. Hazy golden body, white head. Honeyish malty aroma, light oxidation. Pleasant, light, clean taste, sweetish. Mandarina Bavaria and woody touches and a bitterish finish. Actually fairly well made, nice! Just avoid the yeast shot and you're set.

Bottle from Ambasada. Huge thanks Hrabren! An enormous beige almost-gusher of a head coming out in force from the bottle on top of a pitch black body. Pleasant, simple aroma, dark bread maltiness, some rye and light fruit, nutty touches. Soft taste, chocolate mixing with a solid roast before a bitter finish. Okay overall.

25 June 2021. At Dok Brewing Company. Cheers Anke & PIeter! Hazy dark orange, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of apricot jam, marmalade, biscuit, dried orange peel, mango, pomegrenate, strawberry. Taste has sweet apricot, orange, mango & vague strawberry in a jam-like, biscuity malt body, touch of caramel even. Bitter citrus rinds & pink grapefruit accents in the bitter, earthy hoppy, almost resinous finish along malty biscuit & marmalade. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Nice one, rather heavy on the malt (and the tongue) though.
