Tap at brewery. Sabins Stout was probably best beer here but the barrel aged version is just over the top bourbon flavors completely dominates. you get the hooch and vanilla and maybe hints of the old chocolate and cola. same pretty black pour.

Medium sweet flavor with sugary dark bread, chocolate, some berries, roast, dough. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes fairly sweet, with burnt chocolate, more dark fruits, blackberry, scorched earth. Good stuff.

Sampled at 3rd annual RI Brewfest; Flavor starts lightly sweet with pale malt base with caramel hints. Lighter body, nearly thin and very grainy. A dusty grain flavor shows throughout the brew. I get very little, if any hop profile at all. This one needs some work.
