Description

Will probably not like this, but oh well... Bought by mistake. Smell-weak, faint sour tones, faint yeast, citrus. Foam- thin, some sour notes, some faint citrus and more sourness... Head is small, and white in color. Sticks. Appearance- brewer bottle cap, simple label. From - pint Taste- sourness, faint citrus and then more sourness. Sour beers just taste off for me. I cant drink this, why I buy them? Poured out.

Bottle, backlog January 2016. Clear golden body under a big, fluffy white head. Aroma has pale malt, spicy yeast and white sugar. Taste is quite sweet pale malt, white sugar and a bit astringent. Medium body with sweet aftertaste. Too sweet for me.

10 April 2022. At 14de Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke & Pieter!

Clear red, thin, frothy, tan head. Aroma of lots of vinegar, sour cherry, wet wood, wet straw, cheese. Taste has very sour cherry, sourdough, very funky aspects of vinegar and Worchestershire sauce. Very tart, mouth-puckering finish, tannic, vinegary, alcoholic and very slightly bready. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Pretty challenging. One for careful sipping.
