Sampled at Max's Belgian Fest 2025. Clear garnet amber, no head light legs. Nose is huge, high acid, pomegranate vinegar, apples, sour barrel. Flavor is huge vitamin C, apple cider vinegar, malt. Sour as hell. Long, high acid.

Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sour. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma color caffelatte resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido offre una visione offuscata. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente marrone. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è poco presente e pesante è il sentore di sour. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di frutta secca, agrumi, arancia rossa, erbe aromatiche, carta, lampone, rabarbaro, vino rosso, pepe, chiodi di garofano, acetico, verdure cotte, mais cotto, salsa di soia e legnoso.

Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sottobosco. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza velata. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono anche la forma della frizzantezza, con carbonazione allegra e vivace. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di recente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di zuccherino, caramello, miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, agrumi, arancia, fico, marron glacé, banana e frutta passita.

Bottle at Café De Koffer, Groningen. Aroma is tart and sweet cherries with notes of oak, raspberry, lots of red fruits. Nicely tart flavour with a moderate sourness and some sugary sweetness. Medium bodied. Tasty, enjoyable Kriek.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is malty and yeasty with grainy oats, spicy yeast, candy, mild fruity and floral/perfumed, some alcohol. Flavour is sweet with a mild bitterness. Body is above medium. Pretty decent Tripel, quite spicy.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Pretty complex aroma of wood, grainy malt, grapes, wine, fleshy fruits, barnyard funk, citrus, mild stone fruits, bread. Flavour is tart and moderate to medium sour with a little sweetness. Body is medium. So much better and more original than the label "hoogblond" suggests, this funky wine Sour/Wild is a bit of a gem.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is brown malt with caramel, tart dark fruits, and spicy notes. Flavour is medium sweet with an unexpected tartness and light sourness. A little bitterness as well. Body is medium, feels a bit thin. Fairly enjoyable, far from typical with its tart fruitiness.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is estery yeast with baked malt, soft ripe fruity notes, bit herbal, caramel, spicy notes, touch of pear. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter with a light dry finish. Body is medium. Not too special but there's something about the yeast and earthy notes that pleases me.

Rum, white sugar, pineapple. Same in taste, quite bitter in the end, more vodka than rum. Ripe yellow fruits all around. Not that good.

Аромат умеренный не резкий, весьма добротно припорошен квашеностью яблок. Цвет на удивление красивый и приятный, бархатисто ярко-желто-мутный. Тончайшая белая пена. Вкус сильно кислый, ощущаются яблоки и сливы, немного уксусно-лимонной кислоты а также разнообразных кислых ранних ягод. При послевкусие появляется четкий оттенок хлеба, дрожжей и солода. В целом отличный кислый эль. Топчик.
