Deep red, clear body, with a small, fizzy, lacing, yellow head.
Dense aroma of oak, red wine, leather, overripe fruits, red fruits, vinegar.
Taste follows this, but not as heavy as the nose, with more lovely fruit notes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes dry, sour, vinous, but also smooth, with lots of oak, leather, fruits.
Very tasty. Really greatly balanced, very aromatic nose, while the taste has the right level of drinkability and a well dosed tartness. Lovely combination of oak and fruit notes throughout, accompanied by a vinous character. Great style example how I like it.

Matt tåkete rød med høyt rosa skom som legger seg fort. Lukter sure røde bær, vanilje og noe trevirke. Minner meg om vaniljepudding med rød saus. Smaker surt, syrlig, røde syrlige bær, kirsebær og noe vanilje.

Bottle at home. Hazy ruby with fizzy pink head. Lots of sour cherries, some almonds, berries, dough, light spices, soft red wine vinegar, light herbal. Almost medium sour with nice underlying sweetness for a nice balance, and there’s soft bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with quite some fizzy carbonation. Nice.

0,33l bottle at home from Etre Gourmet (thanks to Saeglopur). BB 13.01.2018. copper rather hazy color, small white head. smells of wood, coconut, some funk, some marzipan, very light vinegar, light green apples, some bitter herbs, quite a lot of cheese. very very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick moiuthfeel. tastes of vinegar, red wine notes, some wood, rather sweetness / obvious sugar, bitter herbs, some marzipan, light blue cheese. finishes bitter / sweet with notes of red wine and marzipan. lovely smell, taste does not fall into place though, lots of vinegar but also very sugary, good but not totally convincing.

33cl bottle. Pours slightly hazy orange golden colour with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of pale fruits, bread, spices. Taste of metallic hops, spices, ripe fruits, bread, metallic finish.

330ml bottle [the name says it all: from a trade with Bartlebier, merci beaucoup !]. Barely clear, chestnut colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, nuttily and minimally bready malty aroma, fruity hints of red berries. Taste is minimally dry, nuttily malty, leafy hoppy, almost woody, diluted residual sweetness; minimally watery.
