Excited to randomly find this style. Dark brown pour and a fingers worth of head. Nose is toasted malt and chocolate. Tastes nutty, caramel, chocolate, roasted malt, earth, rootbeer. Medium bodied. Some alcohol.

Pours a hazy dark amber from a can. Big fruity aroma and initial flavor, ends with a bitter finish. Good beer.

Can from the Packie. Lightly hazy dark lemon yellow with a small bubbly white head. Halls honey lemon drops with hints of bready toasty caramel maltiness. Hints of burnt butterscotch. Not bad

5 oz. taster. This is just slightly better than the normal pigs ear. The shows a little bit of chocolate with the roasted nuts and earthy malt. Something about this yeast aftertaste that just never sits right with me.

5 oz. sample. Been years since I had a Woodstock Inn beer. Mostly because nothing ever really “ wow’ed” me. The flavor is weak lemon, soft orange, with a pine like bite in the finish. Light body. Nothing wrong with it. For me average at best.

Can pour into plastic cup at Gordo's Burritos. Appearance is lightly hazy yellow-light brown with trace sparkle, 1/2-finger width off-white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong papaya. Taste is strong papaya with milder grapefruit and late bitter. Palate is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, refreshing and good flavor but one dimensional.
