0,5 l swing top bottle from Bierzwerg, Greven als Winter Festbier. Now listed with 5.6% abv on the label. Clear dark golden with an huge more than two finger white foamy head in the glass. Grain and malt on the nose. Taste starts with caramel, maybe hints of diacetyl. Some brad to the end. Low carbonation. Low bitterness. Easy drinker. Nothin´ more.

Schnapp-Flascherl: Golden, a bit unclear, medium-sized white persistent head, moderate dryish herbal nose with some grainy- malty spots underneath; moderate - not too dry - bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied; lingering spicy bitter and sweet-malty finish. Oops! Really better than expected...

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally bready, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity, minimally yeasty spicy aroma, hints of green apple, unripe banana, some clove, grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is slightly dry, slightly bready, wheaty malty, subtle residual sweetness, yeasty fruity hints of unripe banana, some green apple, grassy hoppy overtones, a weak touch of grape sugar; dry finish. Creamy-watery texture, smooth, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Rather bready, minimally strange grape sugar touch - not really convincing.

Bottle. Gold with a white head. Aroma of hay and some biscuit with a smattering of grass and spice. And that's what you get: clean and very modestly rich - this is the helles end of festbier I guess - with a little nip of spicy bitterness to close up proceedings. Fresh, solid glugging lager.

Bottle picked up from V-Markt Mainburg and consumed at home Sunday 12th September 2021 after our 3+weeks Greek holiday has come to an end. Pours gold with a white head A little bit malt on the nose but not too much else. Nice mouthfeel, soft, good carbonation. A touch on the sweet side. It's ok.

Bottle picked up in a mixed 6 pack from V-Markt Mainburg and consumed at home sat outside, it's been a very hot 🔥 weekend we've just had a little thunderstom but it is nice again now. Had this beer Sunday 15th August 2021 after a nice homemade Canelloni cooked in the wood oven, listening to Nadine Shah - Kitchen Sink. Pours clear gold with a white head, looks great. Malty and a little fruity, some cereal, clean tasting. Bitterness is just about right, not bad at all.

Bottle picked up from a 6 pack from V-Markt, Mainburg and consumed at home sat outside Sunday 15th August 2021. It's been a very hot 🔥 weekend but just had a brief thunderstorm cooking a homemade Canelloni and listening to Baxter Dury - Night Crawlers. Pours pale light gold a white head, almost no haze, it's almost clear. A little thinish, clean, fresh but yet missing a yeasty edge and not a great deal of banana or clove. Very soft carbonation.

Bottle picked up from V-Markt, Mainburg, and consumed at home Wednesday 11th August 2021 listening to Streets - Nothing of us Are Getting Out of This Life Alive, we are sat outside, it's been a very warm day today. Pours warm gold, this is quite flat, sweet, cloying and desperately boring, really disappointed, drain pour.
