Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of coffee and yeast, with notes of malt and touches of caramel and chocolate. Bitter, roasty aroma with notes of coffee and yeast and touches of caramel malt. Dry and roasty aftertaste with touches of yeast and mild acidic hints. A well-balanced and nice one.

Bottle, 5.9%. Good roasted liquorice aroma. Almost black colour. Red shine, seems clear. Small unstable light brown head. The flavour is roasted, spicy, sweet. A little papery, and also slightly citric. Ashy finish.

Bottle, Tak Günther! Clear deep amber, golden head. Sweet honey, xmas cookie creme catalan aroma (including the egg somehow). Medium body, dry, light coppery, dusty, roast sugar, crystalized honey, somewhat oxidized, light herbs and spices, bitter hop dust finish. Heavy, a bit messy booze. Docking 2 points overall for being litigious cunts against Scandi brewers.

Bottle. Unclear amber color with white head. Aroma is raisins, cereals, oxidized peach. Taste is boozy, sweet, raisins, caramel, a bit metallic. High carbonation. Seems like a boozy sweet mess, it doesn't come together. Not for me.

Leicht eingetrübt kupferfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, getreidiger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich getreidig, malzig, fruchtig mit Karamell und roten Beeren, schwach säuerlich. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Dark brown with a creamy beige head. Aroma of cocoa puffs, roasted grains, honey. To the mild side though. Taste has a nondescript sweetness up front. Finishes with a sudden, short, sharp sourness that disappears in a watery backwash. Way too little character for a beer of this oomph, and what there is doesn’t gel. The alcohol is well disguised, but then again, so is anything interesting. Disappointing.

Buddel:Amber coloured, hazy, stable and lacy off-white head, moderate sweet caramelly-bisquity with a boozy touch, mild herbal hops underneath; moderate sweet flavour, full bodied, a bit tart; increasing bitterness in the boozy sweet and caramelly finish. Not my cup of tea...

Bottle. Clear golden body with a huge, foamy off-white head. Mild aroma of vegetables, fruit and caramel. Taste is rather neutral, not much of anything, some sweet malt, hint of petroleum and moderate bitterness.
