03.02.2020 - 0.33l bottle from kalea adventskalender, danke amely! bb 06.05.2020. pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium head. in the beginning mostly apples on the nose and mouth, very czech-like. later more dough, mead, and funky sour malts. flavour of malts, berries. it is interesting how much the aroma changes shortly after pouring.

Benannt ist das Bier nach dem achtbeinigen Pferd des nordischen Gottes Odin, das auch das Etiktt ziert. Es ist ein süffiges Helles, das nicht nur als schnell und angenehm zu trinken beworben wird, sondern auch im Geschmack zu finden ist. Ein nicht zu herbes Helles, das aber doch hopfige Akzente setzt und einen gemütlichen Feierabend ermöglicht.

33cl bottle. A clear dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of raisins, plums, cinnamon. Taste of cinnamon, dark chocolate malt, vanilla, caramel.

Cloudy amber barely red. Thin very quickly receding head. Cherry aroma almost like a kriek. Very dominant cherry taste: had to check whether they were added (they weren't) Tart and thin on hop taste. Taste like a sour beer, although not specified as such. Kind of interesting but not a pleasure to drink. Might have turned bad.

Bottle from Kalea Advents calendar courtesy of Peggy. Auburn with a fleeting, frothy head. Aroma of berries and caramel. Mineral tones. Taste is mildly sweet, strikingly plain with not much at all going on. Medium bodied. Drinkable.

Bottle @Højbjerg Tasting. cloudy amber, light beige head. Malty aroma, woody hops, a little caramel. caramely, warming flavour. Sweetish, bitter with a little alcohol.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Strong caramelic notes.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, dried fruits, hops, flowers and has a sweet caramel and warming finish.
