Nous concocter la meilleure bière! Founded in 1997 by Jérôme Rebetez, who had formerly been trained as an oenologist, this tiny brewery has rapidly become known for making beers that stretch traditional beer style guidelines and use unorthodox ingredients. BFM's products are made in small batches and hand-packaged at the brewery.

0.75l bottle many thanks to Lore. Hazy orange body with a white head. Aroma and taste of plums, cinnamon, lemon juice, candi sugar and a tiny bit of vinegar and wood. Plums have the lead, the classic saison notes are a bit in the background. Nice one.

0.33 l bottle from 'Drinks of the World' (Basel), best before November 2026. Hazy, amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, quite smoky and slightly fruity aroma of lapsang souchong, caramel and red fruits. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite smoky and slightly fruity taste of caramel, red fruits, tobacco and lapsang souchong, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting one, haven't had a beer with lapsang souchong for quite some time.

Sincerly, it is not my favourite of this brewery, I was a bit surprised , too watery, not enough malt and hop, 20.08.18, at la Galicienne, in family.
