Pinz Zwickelbier, Literflasche Frohe Ostern von Edeka Kaiser, Fleisbach (Sinn). - Dunkles Goldgelb, nur schwach trüb. - In der Nase warm brotig-karamelliges Malz und runde würzige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk rund karamelmalzig mit deutlicher aber gut eingebundener Süße, Hefe und dezenter herbal-hopfenwürziger Herbe. Milder rezent, hefig weich. Mild herber Abgang. - Weiches, fülliges und rundes Zwickelbier, stark hefig und süß aber nur mild gehopft. (4.4.2021.)

Light amber with a frothy white head. Apricots and peaches in the aroma. Mild citrus. Taste is bittersweet on medium to lightish body, okay but not a lot of depth. Texture mildly watery. Not bad.

Bottle from the local Rewe. Gold with a thin, frothy white head. Aroma of apple cider and cheap amaretto. Squishy biscuit underneath. Taste is bitter with an absolutely horrid vinegar bite at the finish. Supposedly fresh. More cleaning product than beer. Did not finish.

Amber with a big, frothy head. Aroma of campfire, salami. Taste is mildly sour with some very mild bitterness. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. Not bad.

500ml bottle. Quasi black colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, minimally grainy, bready and strawy, dark malty aroma, a touch of pumpernickel, cautious fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of dark berries. Taste is roasty dark malty, minimally sourish and metallic, a touch of dark berries. Infected?

330ml bottle.Cloudy, redd-ish brown colour with small to average, creamy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, beige head. Nuttily malty and slightly fruity aroma, weak hints of cherry. Taste is dry, minimally tart, fruity and nuttily malty, hints of morello, cherry, hazelnut. Not overly intense, but very nice fruitiness without sweetness nor any hints of artificiality or sugar. Nice.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, dark amber colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Slightly resinous, piney, minimally earthy, fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of dark berries, prune, minimally nutty malty background with a touch of peanut, overtones of fresh hay with floral interludes. Taste is mellow malty, fruity hoppy, minimally citrusy, notes of dark berries with a minimally tart-ish touch, some pine and resin, quite earthy overall. Super soft, smooth and silky palate. Not the most typical IPA concerning flavours and colour, very well crafted.

Smoky malty aroma, notes of ham, birch ashes, a grassy hoppy touch, yeasty spicy overtones. Taste is smoky and caramel malty, notes of ham, some caramel, birch ashes, grassy hoppy overtones, a spicy yeasty touch as well; minimally watery passages. Not bad.

From the bottle. Orange with a foamy, white head. Aroma is musty basement, banana, and light clove. Taste is mildly sweet up front, moves into a dry and slightly metallic bitterness at the end. Body is medium, carbonation a touch overdone. Drinkable but not a lot to savor here.

From the bottle. Deep amber, a bit murky. A frothy head lingers. Aroma of mango and flowers. Taste is mildly bittersweet with gentle mango notes. Not a lot of depth .. feels empty. Body is medium, süffig, carbonation is soft. Easygoing everyday stuff but a bit unsatisfying.
