From the bottle. Orange with a frothy white head. Aroma of apple cider, a bit floral, quite malty. Taste is bittersweet and overall rather empty. Finishes dryer and more bitter with unclean burnt, plastic diversions and a caramel oddly low on sugar. Medium body. A lifeless excursion.

From the bottle. Dirty brown with a head of quite short duration. Aroma is dominated by the evidentally copious amounts of clove added to the brew. Little else gets through. No real sense at all of the beer beneath this concoction. Taste is marginally bitter, trending mildly sour at the finish, dominated by a cinnamon/clove/lemon mix that lingers through the finish. Body is medium, but to the light side, texture slightly watery, carbonation soft. Drinkable(just) but overall too unbalanced

From the bottle. Dark brown with a beige, frothy to creamy crown. Aroma of blackened toast and coffee grounds. Taste is full of roasted bitterness with just a touch of milk chocolate sweetness to round out an otherwise burnt and grainy finish. Medium body and a bit oily. Ok but nothing remarkable.

Tasting @ Koelschtrinker's place. Fresh floral beginning. Grainy with winey hints. Interesting and floral grainy, refreshing with not too much depth.

1/12/2018. Bottle from Boris and shared at the 1st Kesgrave 50/50 bottle share. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a large bubbly white head. Aroma of hops, malt, swet fruit, flowers and straw. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Bitter, floral finish.
