750ml bottle. 2014 Vintage. Deep golden amber colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of juicy apple, apple pie. Taste is tart apple, fruity, juicy and bitter, woody, orchardy with caramel hints and drying spicy tannin. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry lingering astringent bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

Tap at Beerttoria. Lovely smell, reminiscent of childhood cider lollies some how. Loads of apple, the intensity of which swirls around. Taste is great too, rich fruitiness, apples of course. Can't rate ciders it seems... very nice though. Tiny bit of sweetness. But just so much apple.

2019/08/31 Bottle shared at home, 2017 label, picked up at the source. Clear golden applejuice with a thin white ring head and soft lacing. Sweet bitter and tart apples, sweet red juicy apples, some bitter green and mealy yellow, some sour greens. 🍎🍏A narrow but densely loaded spectrum with soft hints of caramelised fruit sugars, mustardy spices, earthy and woody notes. A short lived complexity swirls up in the mouth with every sip swallowed, then calms into a sweet and pleasant balanced blend of apples with a soft layer of rustic woody tones. Dupont cidre has a signature mouthfeel that is a tad more oilier and more wine-like than most (not all) of the other Normandy ciders I’ve tried. Medium body and soft carbonation. Quality stuff, now where is the funk? --- Beer merged from original tick of Cidre Bouché (2017) on 31 Aug 2019 at 20:00 - Score: 7. Bottle shared on final holiday evening of our little tour-de-France through Mont-Médy (Ardennes), Piriac-sur-Mer (Bretagne) and Les Moutiers-en-Cinglais (Normandie). Bottle bought at the domaine, where I sampled it before. Pours clear golden with some rust in the color. Rich sweet apples, caramel, cinnamon, tangerine, a light tart edge leaning in against the sweetness, softening vanilla of the oak barrels, soft nutty tannins, and warming whisky-like fumes of the calvados come through. Sweet and moderate bitter, tart edges. Over medium body and fine carbonation. The cider has a somewhat fatter body than most, sticks to the glass like a good wine or olive oil and one can almost chew and crunch the crystallised sugars in this light syrupy apple juice. Complex, delicate and delicious. A beautiful product for sure, but it won’t cure me of my weak spot for barnyard funky ciders. --- Beer merged from original tick of Famille Dupont Cidre Reserve 2017 on 12 Aug 2019 at 15:31 - Score: 8

Bottle shared at home. Clear golden with no head. Sweet apple and dry woody, fruity, grassy. Boozy and fruity up front and bone dry in the finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Interesting to dry but a bit strong and dry for long drinking.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Clear golden with visible bubbles, small white head, light depot. Dry bitter apples, tannins, alcohol, tart apple juice, dry earthy, dry apple peel, green leaves, almonds, green unripe apples. Light sweet and tart, almost medium bitter. Medium bodied, over medium dry and some alcohol. Interesting to try, but not super good.
