330ml bottle. Jet black colour with slightly late awakening, average, dense, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, brown head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty and mildly spicy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, cocoa, some coffee, whiffs of chili and red wine. Taste is roasty and chocolately, dark malty and peppery spicy, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, some milk chocolate, coffee, notes of chili with accumulating, eventually pungent spiciness which also delivers slightly dusty aspects; notes of mocha withstand the spiciness throughout the lingering finish. Creamy to viscous texture, smooth and soft, silky, slightly cloying, simultaneously pungent palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation. Quite intense, not overly complex; highly concentrated spiciness is still far from excruciating, hardly detectable BA influences - a one time experience, not the kind of Impy Stout you'll cellar in heaps.
