Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear paleish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thinnish malts, a vague honey sweetness. Light cooling pine. Floral hops. Mild citrus, mildly ripe. Light finish. Tidy, clean and drinkable if a tad unexciting.

Keg at The Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of grapefruit and resin, some caramel. Taste is bitter, pithy grapefruit. Bitter finish.

Can at home, picked up from HOTM online, 09/09/24. Clear golden topped with a generous white cap formed of thinly knit bubbles, carbonation evident, head retains well ... a solid looking bier. Nose is pale malts, herb, hedgerow, toasted grains, stale bread. Taste comprises straw, faint citric nip, cereals, pale and bready malts, touch of honey, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Refreshing logger bier.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Dark brown body with a few chunks floating beneath a thick beige head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of fig roll, caramel, earth and ginger. Flavour of rye bread, ginger and pine. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. I wanted to love it but it’s just solid. There’s an unusual ginger note to it, and the chunks are a bit off-putting.

Lattina. Territorio olfattivo dominato dal citrico. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il piano sottostante si presenta opalescente. Il colore è giallo paglierino. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è poco presente. La forza gustativa è elevata e permane in maniera sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, frutta secca, agrumi, limone e sour.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy yellow - blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is floury bread, doughy, leafy, grassy, toasty grain, cereal, nuttiness and grain husks. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, some grassy bitterness, leafy, toasty grain, grain husks, cereal, floury bread, some spice and some floral vibes with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Nice hearty lagerbier.
