33cl bottle thanks to unstablefable. Pours opaque black with a decent head which disappears a bit quick. The nose has something slightly smokey/earthy with a slight creamy but not the sweet creamy notes I was expecting. The taste has a real smokiness with the liquorice thing again. The palate is medium bodied at least with a dry but medium textured with a dry and quite elegant finish. Overall, I don’t think this is a milk stout, maybe closer to a dry stout. It’s good though!

33cl bottle thanks to unstablefable. Pours a cloudy amber colour with a nice thin head. The nose has unfortunately a major cardboard note at the front, then something a bit earthy or root vegetable note, maybe parsnips. The taste has more of the earth and root veg, with a pepperiness - definitely going parsnip here. The palate is at least medium bodied and it has a creamy texture and a dry bitter finish. Well balanced. Overall,

33cl bottle thanks to unstablefable. Pours amber with a thin lace head. The nose has sweet pine and flowers. The taste has bitter grapefruit and not much else. The palate has light to medium bodied with a long dry finish. Overall, slightly too bitter for me!

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy deep nut brown colour with a big frothy, pretty compact beige head. A lot of wood and nuts in a very rich and a bit complex aroma. I also sence some cinnamon and pepper, cocoa as well. Surprisingly light and slick mouthfeel. The flavours also contain wood and nuts, but leather too. Some roasted malt in the end with a hint of coffee. Bitterness = medium+, and lasts. A beer that is something for it self, interesting but maybe a bit unbalanced in the flavour. Decent enough though.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks troubles. Slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, slightly stale, piney hints and a bit of graininess. Flavor of slightly stale hops, light fruitiness and grainy notes. Medium-bodied.

Keg at the Euston Tap. Pours a clear, rich gold with a fine, foamy white cream head. Ripe citrus nose with some doughy white bread. Medium sweet flavor with jammy citrus, some ripe berries, lightly toasted sugars and some leafy bitters. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, with some dirt, ripe citrus and more leaves. It’s a pretty underwhelming IPA.

Bottle at home. Has a hazy dark amber colour with a small light beige head. Nice classic IPA-aroma with fruity hops, peaches, cardboard and some berries. More fruity hops in the flavour, some spices, herbs and agian sweet berries. Soft, rich and a bit sparkly mouthfeel, and medium bitter. A good, balanced and rich IPA.
