Pint can pours with a nice dark mahogany colored body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up woody, some pine and then a thin ring of grapefruit. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of pine hop and grapefruit hop bitterness mingling with dark roasted malts, a bit of charred malts and then chocolate malts. This comes together nicely with tasty depth and balance.

Pint can pours with a clear copper colored body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up crystal malts, a bit of caramel malts and then spicy to floral hoppiness followed by a bit of biscuit malts. The taste is largely sweet to nutty crystal malts flowing into a thin sweet caramel malt sensation. To midway a pleasing level of bitter hop spiciness teams up with the malts to create an interesting character reminiscent of IPA of a prior century. It also picks up some biscuit like maltiness as it dries out fairly well into the finish. I'd prefer if the crystal and caramel malts were dialed back a bit. Solid 6.2% abv offering.

Pint can pours with a crystal clear pure gold body that supports a nice white. The aroma offers up inviting levels of beachwood malt smokiness with hints of yeasty fruity esters and spicy to floral hops. The taste delivers a fair level of malt smokiness that has the hint of pork and bacon goodness. To midway it picks up spicy bitter hoppiness that achieves pleasing hop flavor depth as well. This is working great with full round flavor and ending fairly dry with lingering smooth smokiness into the after taste.

Wow. It was a workout getting through the wax and popping the pry-on bottle cap. Eventually the 12oz bottle poured with a dark chocolate colored body that supports a dark tan head of foam. The aroma offers up a blended cloud of chocolate, vanilla, molasses and booze. The taste is smooth and as integrated as the nose indicated where I get an interplay of chocolate, vanilla richness and some dark roasted malts. To midway it sweetens as the vanilla seems to ratchet up the intensity a bit. Into the finish it becomes clear this is a big beer as it warms the innards as it goes down. Another in a long line of terrific sippers.
