Bottle. Vaguely murky caramel, no head to speak of - fairly ugly beer. Nose has roasty, chocolatey and caramel malts and some pine. Not obviously going to be sweet. Quite syrupy texture. Raisins, prunes and red berries. Brief spicy and chewy finish. Hides its alcohol quite well. Just enough yeastiness to keep it from being sickly. I’m not convinced that I like this style much, but I like this pretty well.

Bottle. Hazy yellow, very large white head. Vigorous bubbles. Looks like a wheat beer. Dry aroma with zesty grapefruit. Taste is initially dominated by citrus. Some hay-like malts, but feels a bit thin. Once the citrus kick wears down a little the second half of the bottle started to taste more balanced and interesting.

Vibrant golden pour, towering (too big) persistent head, lively carbonation.Light hoppy aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, green apples, limes and artificial lemon. Biscuity malt underneath but not enough. Could use some more crystal in there.Lemon and lime definitely transfers through to taste, followed by some sweet malt before a lingering but non-descript bitterness takes over.Too much carbonation.

Dark ruby pour, slightly haze, nice 1 inch head that slowly fades leaving lots of lacing.Aroma is of heavy brown sugar, golden syrup, banana bread, toasty malt, walnuts and hints of alcohol.Flavours include more muscovado sugar, hints of rum and dark fruit, plum mostly.Alcoholic heat can definitely be felt on palate. Nice creamy body though.

Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy brown orange with no head. Complex aroma of raisins, malt maybe coffee and tobacco. Full bodied with plenty of fine carbonation giving a creamy / fluffy feel rather than fizzy. The flavour starts with a refreshing fruity foretaste developing a malty sweetness that rapidly becomes a rich complex mix dominated by raisins (Tokay as Stew41 suggested) with some bunt / bitter (dark chocolate?) flavours and plenty more. Overall a very good beer but not quite balanced - a little too raisiny and the burnt bitter notes are a little strong.

Bottle. Pours hazy pale amber with big fluffy white head that lasts well. The aroma is very nice - floral hoppy with touch of citrus. Palate is very fizzy with a medium body. Flavour starts with a refreshing floral / citrus taste moving into some malty sweetness but leading to a brutal bitter finish which is deceptive, intially it seems very pleasing but then it turns harsh and that aspects stays. Doesn’t quite work for me.

Bottled. Cloudy blonde, small head. Obvious grapefruit/lemon hop aroma. Dry, crisp and well hopped. Light bodied. There’s notes of toffee underneath the hops, and the finish is very bitter - near resiny. The malt profile may be a bit mellow, but overall this is a greap APA.
