Description
At Moon Dog we love crafting bloody delicious beers that are fun and a little bit different. We've been doing it since 2010 at our rad brewery in the backstreets of inner Melbourne’s Abbotsford. Over the years we’ve grown a heap, adding our tropical brewery bar paradise, the ballroom oasis function space, and a freakin' big fancy production brewery to keep more delicious beers flowing. We’re a proudly independent, Australian owned craft brewery, still run by the same guys that started it all those years ago.

330ml can from Beer52: BB 18th Mar 2022. drank at home on 27th Feb 2021. Clean and clear, light golden colour, fast fading white head. Mild citrus leanings in the 'fizzy' taste, not much else going on to be honest.

Can. Gold, short of opaque. A loose white head is soon a coat. Aroma of mandarin, feijoa, tinned pineapple. It's fruity but it's tired. And that's the whole thing really. The fruit is less than vibrant, the finish has moderate bitterness. Desultory.

Pretty bog-standard fizzy pale ale. Pours a nice clear deep gold with a bubbly white head which disappears almost immediately, and a sweet citrus fruit aroma. The mouthfeel is deeply carbonated, there’s a citrus bitterness to kick things off with some caramel malt sitting underneath and a dry finish

A really nice set of flavours come together, with pineapple, mango, lots of passionfruit. Some light bitterness in the mouth. Very enjoyable

440ml can. Poured a clear medium brown colour with a lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is light roasty malt, a little smoke, fresh hops. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a light, roasty, light dry ashtray, light pepper, light liqourice, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A hopped up porter. A little light all round but quite drinkable.

Deep dark brown, near black, with a small bubbly tan head, and has some dark fruit and chocolate on the nose. It's a bit lacking in the flavour department, with only hints of dark fruit and chocolate apparent, but a decent enough stout with nice roasted malt and a dry bitter finish.

Sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty, minimally sugary and caramel malty aroma, notes of milk chocolate, vanilla, a touch of brown sugar, dark caramel, whiffs of molasses, toffee. Taste is roasty and slightly chocolately, dark malty, bitter roasty and bitter alcoholic, BA notes of rum, some chocolate, dark caramel, a touch of molasses, toffee; lingering, bitter, minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. From a 355ml can on 10/2/2021. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a medium head. Has a modest citrus fruit aroma. The flavour is primarily a muted medium sweet orange and negligible countering bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Not in any way objectionable but really lacks punch and character.

Thin white head on a slowly carbonating light amber coloured body. Confectionery aroma. Medium bodied, lively with a limp back. Sweet, confectionery, alka-seltzer & fake fruit tastes. Positively boring.
