Dark beer with a chocolate and dry aroma, and a slighty sour, fruity and dry flavour. Overall a good Scottish beer.

Bottle Aroma has roasted malt, chocolate notes topped off with herbal hops. Cola color, low head, champagne bubbles. Roasted and slightly smoked flavors, herbal hops, peppery malt aftertaste. Good body. Pleasant, not extraordinary.

Bottle. Dusty herbal hops (clear glass bottle - very slight skunk) and buttery aroma. Clear red golden color, champagne carbonation, fluffy white head. Cracker malt, weakish lemony hops. A tad watery and anonymous in the exit.

Bottle Roasted Barley, Hops to a lesser degree, chocolate and fruit. Golden brown, big carbonation, foamy head. Chocolate, roast, mellow and well-balanced Medium body, yeasty exit. Going against the grain here, but I liked it - summer holiday bonus I guess.

Golden beer with little head, but nice lacing. Lemon and flowery hops aroma. Initial sweet honey-ish flavour, but sharp dry hops finish.

An orange beer with a disappering head. The aroma is dominated by elderflower. The flavor is dry malty with notes of hops and elderflower.

Cask. Nice colour, bright copper. Brilliant hop flavour, a little sweet, not very bitter. Fruity. Nicely acidic.

Hand-pulled cask at Prince of Wales in London. Dark golden orange color with a minimal off-white head and almost no lacing. Aroma of toned down hops along with some fruit. Very smooth, with flavors of malt and hops at the forefront, along with some fruit and a pinch of spice. The finish is mild but insistently bitter. Pretty good offering from Caledonian.

Cask. Dark copper colour. Very creamy head. Rich and sweet with a touch of fruit/winegum flavour. Slightly bitter aftertaste.
