Light amber; sweet, malty, light. I will say that I've never seen the appeal of Golden Promise - it just is not Maris Otter.

Sampled cask conditioned in Edinburgh.
Amber colour. Pleasant, distinct spicy hop aroma. Soft mouthfeel. Rather light body, grassy delicious malt accent. Well balanced with slightly salty finish. My favourite from this brewery so far.

Flat looking beer with a prominent malt and lightly hopped aroma and flavour. OK, but not a truely great beer.
