330ml bottle from Asda (I think) - Clear yellow body, thin white bubbly top. Nose has a bit of a scorched dusty lemon about it, taste follows through with a bit of malty sweetness. Not overly bad.

Keg halfpint at The Wig, Aberdeen. Golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, a hint of butterscotch. Malts and butterscotch in the flavour too, the three hops are far from dominant. Still fair enough to drink.

Bottle from Aldi. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a fresh crisp, fruity mineral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clissold Wines, Stokey. Pours totally clear orangey gold with a fairly tight, frothy white head. The aroma holds cheap pale grains, cereal, ripening lemon and hey. Light to medium sweet flavour, with biscuits, low bitterness, vague grass, more simple cereal. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with rounded bready pale malt character, just hint of bitter straw, further cereal bites, accents of lemon rind. Overall, a drinkable budget lager.

Bottle from ASDA, Manchester. Copper-amber with a small carbonation and a small head. Has a healthy tasting gritty hop-malt balance with a fine tasting pale ale texture.

330 ml bottle: BB 30th Nov 2017. Drank in my back garden in the late afternoon sun on 10th Aug 2017. Poured twice into one of my old ’Veltins’ stemmed tulip glasses which only hold 200 ml. Wasn’t overly impressed to be honest. Golden body with a fast fading white crown on both pours. UK market is full of Lager/Pilsners, this is no different to the gallons of cheap stuff about, but costs a lot more. Aroma had some grains and citrus notes, as did the taste, I thought it a bit bland and boring.
