Can: Poured a light amber color bock with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry caramel malt with hints of residual sugar notes is pretty pleasant. Taste is a nice mix of dry caramel malt with notes of light cookie and hints of sugar. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nothing to write home about but well brewed bock.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co, Clekenwell - London. Many thanks to Dave for the BIPA scoop! Pours deep brown with a creamy, tan head. Burnt toast in the nose, with undertones of raisins and cocoa. Light-medium sweet flavor with light ashy roast, coffee, weak cocoa. Light in body with average carbonation. Moderately roasty on the finish, with nips of light chocolate, coffee grounds and dried berries. Fine.

This IPA poured a deep black colour with a big brown foamy head. Scents include a lot of grass, hops and mineral water. First swig was a little thin but full of flavour. Tastes of molasses, roasted malts, hay/grass and a little coffee. Finish is roasty with medium bitterness.

Craft Clerkenwell Bottle Share. Can thanks to big Dave and as ’Big Rig Black IPA’. Clear dark amber - brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is airy and dry, modest fine carbonation. Thin and mellow dark malts. Traces of roast, coffee and dark chocolate. Super mild pine hops and a trace of floralness. Whisper of dark fruits. Light dry finish. A bit tame but okay.
