Purchased in Vermont and drinking at home, to end my Easter vacation. Pours an unfiltered, golden-amber colour, with lots of sediments through it. The head is warm-coloured with good stay and nice lacing. Flavours of grassy leafs with light caramel malts. Piney aromas with the grassy hops and orange notes. Hints of rusty water. Gets better with time. Nice bitterness, some citrus (mostly oranges) lingers. A decent IPA.

Bomber from Cap Tap. Pours really dark copper with a tan head. Aroma is very hoppy, seems to have pine, and started me thinking dank. Med + body. Flavor is definitely malty, but it’s quite fruity. There’s a hop burn, and I’m thinking this might apply for admission to dankness. Low level. So it’s not very dry, but the moderate to extreme (I’m of 2 minds here) hop bitterness controls it. I’m also thinking that green melon is a significant part of the fruit mix. This is very tasty stuff.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours very dark, but it’s clear - and the color is red. Dark! Beige head. Aroma is malt/yeast/bourbon/vanilla/dark cherry. Med + body. Flavor is dark malt, something bourbonish, yeast, dark cherry, vanilla, musty wood. Very smooth. finishing neither wholly dry nor bitter. Tasty stuff.

Bomber from Whole Foods (Arden) in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown with a dark tan head. Aroma of smooth dark malt, seemingly chocolate, and some fruit notes. Near full bodied. Flavor is dark malt, earthy chocolate, and some dark or reddish fruit. Not raspberry tho. :) Drier than expected, and it’s somewhat bitter, but I’d put that to the dark malts, since I can’t figure out any particular hop here. It’s tasting very nice.
