This was poured into a pilsner glass.
The appearance was a transparent yellow color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated immediately. Somewhat bubbly with a little bit of lacing.
The aroma had some good sweet clean grassy hops up front over some biscuity/breadiness.
The flavor takes all of the previously mentioned aromas to combine nicely. Lingering sweet aftertaste with a wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light with a great crisp malty sweetness to it.
Overall, really nice German pilsener that I would have again.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark copper with a beige head. Has a sweet malt aroma with a fruit note. Near med body. For me it’s a nearly tasteless start, but quickly moves to slightly toasty malt. There’s some hop bitter, but not enough IMHO. Does finish bitter tho, and that’s a plus.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma of slighty cooked malt and something citrus or fruity. Approaches med body. Flavor starts fruit bitter, goes into pale malt and finishes on a nicely bitter note. Better than expected - better than many.

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours coppery gold with a white head. Aromas of citrus fruit flow from the pour. From the glass it’s moderate grapefruit - not zest. Med body or better. Flavor is mildly toasty caramel with a lot of grapefruit type flavor. It’s reasonably dry, moderately bitter (or maybe more than that), is somewhat astringent, and is tasting a lot like grapefruit citrus. I’ve had ales with more grapefruit, but this does just fine.
