Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt amber color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated gently to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy to piney hops with a clean caramel/toffee malt base
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fair and balanced hop to malts ratio of bittersweetness; finishes citrusy, piney and malty
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; some smoothness but also some hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: nice as a TIPA, I could hang with this again if it's marketed as a West coast TIPA, but if I heard correctly they're trying to do this as a New England IPA, this would be a big nope on that style.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt orange to copper color with a finger and a quarter of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mango to dragon fruit to pineapple hop tones? I think...then with some bubblegum; light maltiness
Flavor: seems to do a decent job of meshing the noted aromas to a sweet to semi-bittersweet sort of quality; finishes with the bubblegum then even lighter notes of the previously stated aromas
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; not as smooth as I was hoping because it became somewhat watery
Overall: not one of Dust Bowl's better beers, I think they might want to re-think this one.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: copper color with some transparency and a finger's worth of white foamy head which tapered off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: floral & piney hops with some light melon-like hop notes; light clean caramel/toffee malts
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes somewhat floral, melon-like and piney
Texture: medium bodied; this is a sipper; some smoothness but also some hop bitterness assertiveness, nothing overbearing - just noticeable
Overall: nicely done TIPA I could come back to.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: gold in color with some transparency and a two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: white grapes, peachy, apricot & pineapple hop scents; light clean malt base
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes semi-peachy and white grape-like
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness along the tongue with some light hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: nicely done West coast styled IPA with poignant hop aromas, I'd definitely return to this.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: copper color with some transparency and a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy & piney hops up front with a clean malt base
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine bitter to bittersweet quality; finishes citrusy and piney
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness to it; light hop bitterness
Overall: the way I wrote this I thought I had just a "West coast IPA." Was there really a lager yeast used in this? Hmmmm...alright next beer please.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: copper color with some transparency to it; a finger and a quarter of eggshell white foamy head which tapered off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: iced peaches & apricot-like hops over top of some mango and papaya-like meshed hoppiness; some caramel/toffee malts but part of me thinks the malts may have not been enough
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a semi-sweet to sturdy bitterness; finishes with a hop annihilation of bittersweetness
Texture: full bodied, this is mostly certainly a sipper; light smoothness but that doesn't' stay that way for long as the hops end up slaying the tongue as I expected them to.
Overall: I think I had this too fresh as that was only beer that night. Still, I think I could come back to this maybe I wouldn't mind see this again with a couple months to several months of age on it to see what it would be like then.

Stove pipe from Nugget Market in Woodland, CA. Pours somewhat hazy gold with a moderate white head. Aroma has a lot of grapefruit to include pith. Med body. Juicy grapefruit. Not all that dry. Nice level of bitterness. Flavor is grapefruit with pith that holds to the mouth and tongue. There's a little something that could be peel and could be earth. Or both. Nice drink.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours clear coppery gold with a moderate white head. Aroma has pine. Med body. Pale malt supports a lot of pine, and perhaps passionfruit and white berry. I wouldn't call it malty. I do call it quite bitter. The flavor is amazingly strong and bitter. Excellent.

Can. This is a really nice and clean west coaster. A bit hazy for style. Aroma and flavor are all very good with being over the top.
