“Hebendanz Bock-Bier“, Flasche (50 cl) von Grabsch, Berlin-Lichterfelde. - Kupfergoldbraun, klar. - In der Nase milde, weiche Zitrone und sattes Karamelmalz. - Antrunk füllig und tief karamelmalzig mit toastigen und nussigen Noten und angenehmer milder Süße. Nur schwache, zart zitronige Hopfenherbe. Mild rezent, angenehm schwer. Im Abgang mild malzbitter und ausreichend krautig hopfenherb. - Gediegen malzaromatisch-tiefer, nicht zu knapp gehopfter Bock. Wie eine kräftigere Version des Annafestbiers vom Hebendanz. Unerwartet gut. Spätere Flaschen waren allerdings nicht mehr so überzeugend.

500ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, white head. Wheaty and fruity, slightly citrusy aroma, hints of dried banana chips, a touch of pear, lemon, spicy yeasty hints of clove and peppergrass. Taste is wheaty, yeasty fruity, hints of pear, a touch of banana, citrusy hints of lemon; minimally creamy, almost a bit slimy palate.

Bocken varer lige til påske. Golden with a small white head. Grainy malt aroma with hay and porridge. Sweet malty flavour with herbal hops and a touch of alcohol.

„Annafest Bier“, Flasche (50 cl) von Grabsch, Berlin. - Tiefdunkles Goldbraun, klar. - In der Nase Toastmalz, Karamel und nussige Süße, dazu leichte herb-fruchtige und zarte schweißige Noten. - Antrunk etwas füllig toastmalzig mit zart nussiger Note und mild karamelmalziger Süße. Nur schwache, etwas dumpfe Herbe; Anklänge an grüne Äpfel. Mild rezent, glatt und süffig. Abgang wegen fehlender Hopfenherbe etwas leer; schwache muffige und zarte metallische Noten. - Schön malzaromatisches aber arg schwach gehopftes, von leichten Fehlaromen geplagtes Festbier. Bottle from Landbierparadies. Clear yellow, white foam disappears quickly. Rather sweet malty with light bitter hoppy aftertaste. Easy drinkable. Decent Helles.

Bottle. Beautiful clear amber color with tan head. Aroma is buttered caramel, strawberries, some rural earthy flavours, seems like it’s going to be sweet. Taste is then surprisingly light-footed, with light notes of strawberry cream and caramel. Natural carbonation, Franconian softness. Quaffable and fun!

Bottle from ErlangerNick thanks my friend. Clear deep gold colour lasting white head. Some malt sweetness on the aroma. Some hop throughout. The hoppiest of the 3 bocks I’ve had today. Simple malts. Simple peppery hops. Nothing exciting but a competent heller bock. Fine.
