Bottle from Press online. Imported by Anxo. Rare Vos glass @home. Label says 6.8% abv. Hazy orange, quick hitting mousse-y fizz. Earthy, sour, soapy floral, sidra apple nose. Sour orange, floral sidra, bittersweet apples, middling tannic, lemon pucker, faint vinegar sweetness, touch of earthy sidra funk sharpness on the tail. Chalky more than yeasty. It finishes dry & pithy. A solid choice with food, but all the import tariffs made this one too expensive.

25cl shared with Ryan. Appearance: hazy blonde, no head. Aroma: nice apples, some sweetness, a bit tart. Taste: along the same lines, nice apples, very dry. Quite unique finish of the sophisticated fresh dry apples. Overall: nice one.

750ml bottle from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham. Bottle states 7.3%. Pours milky gold with a loose translucent cap. Aroma: tangy apple, funk. Taste: towards dry, tangy apple, fruity, light tartness, funk, light to moderate tannins. Medium body with spritzy carbonation.

Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Danlo. A hazed reddish orange coloured pour with a halo of lose white head. Aroma is tart, prickly pear, light funk, prickly berries, light acetic notes. Flavour is composed of semi tart, red apple, berries, mellow funk with a little vinegar pinch, some mineral in the finish. Palate is semi sweet tart, prickly carbonartion, some mineral. Nice funky cider with a little twist.

Sample from 75cl bottle at Alexander Wines Spring Tasting. Appearance - golden amber with gently carbonation resulting in no head. Nose - stewed apples and lightly oaky tannins. I'm told that right bank Bordeaux bottles were used. Taste - generally baked apple and wood. Palate - medium bodied, gentle acidity with wood and fruit tannins on show. Overall - interesting cider!

750ml bottle from Little Pomona. Deep orangey gold colour, afew shor-lived bubbles on top and aroma of fruit, fleshy apple, herbal, wood barrel, vanilla & plum hints. Taste is tart, tangy, wood barrel, apple, fleshy, some plum, with zingy citric acidity and drying tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tart & tannic finish. Very drinkable.

750ml bottle from Little Pomona. Hazy gold colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of apple, fruity, peach, citrus, zesty. Taste is tangy, tart, apple, fleshy, with stone fruit, strawberry hints, alittle funk and some zingy citric acidity. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, drying fruity tart finish. Nicely drinkable.

Taste is sweet, tangy, tart, apple, fleshy, melon fruity, with some oak, wood, vanilla, barrel notes and mellow acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry woody citric acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, some whisky barrel, oak, wood, vanilla, and buttery, caramel, citric, with bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tangy woody tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
