Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2022. deep, reddish-copper in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Leafy hops, a touch of brown sugar, red berries, sweet, sightly earthy, malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Copper colour with lasting head. There's a strange mix of cakey sweet elements against a fairly strong hop bitterness. The hop profile seems quite dank. Misses some brighter, top motes.

Cask at The Grill, Aberdeen. It pours crystal clear blonde wjth a ncie white head. The aroma is fresh, airy, zingy, lemon - lime and pleasant floral accents. The taste is classic Scottish hote golde... soft, quite light, bready / biscuity malt, clean, zingy lemon - lime, light floral, touch of spice and some porridge on the finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Not exactly a game changer, but it is fresh, bright and in good condition. Good for the style.

Cask handpull at PoW, Aberdeen. It pours clear golden amber with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, rather nice floral character, juicy citrus, pomelo, grapefruit, grass and a touch of spice. The taste is firmly dry, nice bitterness, bright floral vibes, citrus peel, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, peppery spice, lemongrass and honeysuckle with a dry, pithy finish. Average body and fine, foamy carbonation. Quite bright and moreish. Probably the best Redcastle beer I've tried.
