Description
Redcastle Brewery officially opened its doors in 2016, brewing our much loved Tower IPA. Since then we have gone on to sample many different, styles of beer and currently have 9 core beers available in our range.

We create traditional British-style ales of exceptional quality and taste. We do everything in house - brewing, casking and bottling in a quality controlled environment.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - deep black with red chinks. Nice fawn head. A bit crema like. Nose - molasses and charcoal. Cola maybe. Taste - cola confirmed with liquorice and smoke again. Palate - medium bodied and crunchy through middle and finish. Avoids being astringent though. Overall - I'm struggling to call this a sweet stout. If anything it's dry. But it's definitely the best I've has from these guys.

Looks and smells like a bitter. Tastes like a wheat/ bitter hybrid. Not sure if this place has mucked it up but I think a blind tasting I might have edged towards a wheat beer but otherwise I'd have said it was a slightly interesting bitter. It's..... fine.
