50cl bottle from Dundulis webshop. Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Grainy aroma with mild fruity notes, hints of herbs, caramel and yeast. Moderate to mediun sweet with medium flavour intensity and bitterness on the lighter side. Feels a bit watery, but fairly drinkable.

(Draught at Café Derat, Utrecht, 18 July 2024) Pale amber colour with big, tan head. Fruity, spicy nose with notes of orange peel, apricots, hay and clove. Fruity taste with orange peel, apricots, mandarin, bread, hay and a mild spicy/herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. A bit shy, but refreshing. Enjoyable.

Tap at Vingiu Dubingiu. Medium bitter, not a bitter-level of attenuation, actually not even a bitter-levrl of bitterness, at least not in overall balance. Not bad though. Med-light carbonation. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Moderate general estery fruitiness, med-light applish, mixing with med-light piney, light citrusy hoppiness. Overall not great not terrible.

DIPA without the ABV and even then very odd. Odd but likeable.

Bottle in Tallinn drank with Fat Phil and Anna who the beer was made for. Pretty low carbonation, nice soft aroma and flavour. Wood coming out nicely.

Birch never tasted this good! No joke, almost certain I’ve never rated a lager 4.0 before. In a land of oh so many mediocre beers, this Lithuanian brew is solid.
