Flaska från SB. Mörkt gyllenenfärgad, rejält grumlig. Stor brettdoft, jäst, örter och kryddor, kanske lite mer likt en hefeweissen än annan brettöl jag provat. Smaken går också i hefestil men med mindre sötma och mer örtighet. Lite blommvattenkaraktär, nejlikor, jäst och liten beska. Snäll, drickvänlig och en bra brettstarter.

From tap at Bishops Arms. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity, toasted malty and vague estery. Fruity, light estery and vague brett. Mild citric and fruity finish.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in January 2013. A bit hazy golden/orange with a large, fluffy white head. Nice aroma of funk, yeast, fruit and some spices. The taste was rather soft with some funk, yeast, spices and fruit. Also notes of bread. Easy to drink.

Bottle. Pours dark Brown with a creamy grey head. Fresh aroma with notes of nutmeg and sour cherries. Taste is malty, spicy and bretty at the same time. Notes of nutmeg, milk chocolate, salmiak and sour yeast funk. Nice balance. Smooth. Maybe a little too thin? Interesting!

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear dark brown, small head. Interesting aroma with cobwebs, spices and some caramel. Dryish with fairly light body. Tart and fruity, cardamom and nutmeg. Some pine needled in a long bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours orange, semi hazy, with a white head. Smokes dominates the aroma, but it’s also quite sweet and flowery. Taste starts crisp and fresh and ends with a long smokeiness. Notes of sausage, sauna and herbs.
