(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a firm and medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Citrus-fruity, resiny and spicy hoppy aroma with mildly malty notes hints of tea in the background. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with an almost crisp carbonation. Slightly bready malt character with fruity and mildly resiny hoppy notes; moderately dry and slightly hop bitter finish with citric and slightly resiny accents. A decent, not overly spectacular IPA from Germany. 08.II.17

Bottle at home, 23rd February 17. Pours light amber. Aroma is light floral. Taste is floral, bitter, pith, slightly watery, a little messy, light mouth feel. OK IPA

Sampled @ BKL 2017. Klare orange goldene Farbe, mittelgroße beige Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv hopfig, Aprikosen, Pfirsich. Geschmack sehr hopfig bitter, Pfirsich, Citrusfrüchte, kräftiger Körper.

Brown body, with a small, beige head.
Aroma of cocoa, toast, coffee, some booze, some toffee, some dark fruits.
Tastes quite similar, with some more liquorice.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes roasty, medium dry, wooden, a bit toasty, with liquorice, coffee.

Very nice, although not very Eisbock like. On the other hand smoother than other style examples, doesn’t drink too heavy. Enjoyable stuff after all, with a good balance between sweet and roasty.

Hell hopfiges, etwas zu trockenes Hopfenaroma. Mild würzig, leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung. Trocken, mild bitter. 11/8/9/9//8

Rund alkoholisch malziger Antrunk. Weich herb, minimal bitter Röstnoten, wenig Schokolade. 10/10/11/11//11

AMber with medium white head. Aroma is sweatsocks, butter, peach, mango. Nice and complex. Taste is spicy and spiky crackers, grapefruit. Very bitter, not balanced or drinkable. Hm.
