Description
Collective Arts Brewing is a grassroots craft brewery that aims to fuse the creativity of craft beer with the inspired talents of emerging artists and musicians. Collective Arts Brewing was founded on two beliefs: The first that creativity fosters creativity. And the second, that creativity yields delicious pints. We feature limited-edition works of art on our beer cans and labels, and we work to make sure the liquid on the inside is as diverse and creative as the artists we profile. Our brewery is located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. This is where we brew everything from our flagship IPA Ransack the Universe to our World Beer Cup-winning Stranger than Fiction porter. In our taproom we pour up to 10 different beers at one time, samples and flights, we host brewery tours and live entertainment weekly. Stop by to see our beer bottle gallery showcasing every artist we’ve worked with over the past 6 years.

This ale poured a slightly cloudy, yellow colour with a quick living, white head. Scents include clementines, mineral water and dough. First swig was smooth with minimal carbonation. Flavours of citrus hops, light malt and a little spice most prominent. Finish is slightly orange flavoured with a light bitterness. Not bad at all...

On tap at Barley Brothers. Pours a clear very pale gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a nice citrus and grass combination with a light sweet grain backbone. Flavor has bitter citrus up front that mellows to a grassy finish.

Bottle from the Beer Store. Cloudy pale gold with a small white head that lingers and leaves some lace. Nose is citrus and tropical fruit with some light pine and floral notes. Medium light bitter start that fades quickly. Much more muted than the nose. Mouth is medium thin with slightly soft carbonation with a crisp finish. Nice sessionable IPA which would be better if the taste delivered on the promise of the nose.
