On tap at beer bistro. A crystal clear copper gold. Herbal, pine and citrusy hop bouquet. Nice full mouthfeel, fairly softly smooth body. The taste is a clean bitterness, nicely balanced fruity & pine hop notes. A superior & clean pale ale.

On tap at WVRST - part of a tasting set. It was a cloudy milky honey gold, not a good looking brew - maybe the end of the keg? I enjoyed the fruity wheat and hop aroma. It’s med-light bodied with a spicy wheat and citrusy hop flavor. Good but it looks too milky.

Second brew from these brewers, with zest of orange and lemon. Hops written on label are Centennial, Citra and Aramillo. Smells quite fresh, like it, at first pour. Very pale golden colour with a big frothy white head, good retention and foamy lacing (slightly unfiltered). Aromas of nice citrus blends over the grass. After such a nice nose, the taste falls a little short. Kind of a thin mouthfeel with not much taste to it. Very mild hops with some watery malts in the finish. Feels like a real light beer with good hops, which would be fine if this was under 4% ABV. Lacking flavours for a 4.7% ABV.

Rating is a weird thing. I always feel like a couple of the criteria are gimmes. Mostly Appearance. What in the world is a bad looking beer? Cloudy? Too dark or light? Not enough head? None of those really. But with Rhyme and Reason poured into my curved Junction English Pint glass this beer looked unbelievable. It was a lovely golden near the edges of the glass, and through the center, an orange. A thin, yet dense white head that was president, literally, topped it off. That’s a five. The beer itself had a nice nose of hops citrus, and a little resin. The taste was hoppy, citrus, resin and floral. Strong but not overwhelming. The malts in the flavours are simple breads and cereal. Nice finish with some hops bitterness. Really good beer. It just made my regular rotation.

Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a one finger white head that fades quickly.Lots of citrus on the nose with some yeast and spice. Taste is light bitter lemon and orange with an even lighter amount of toffee in the middle and a touch of pepper and more citrus in the end. Mouth is medium light with soft carbonation that matches the flavour profile quite well. This is an excellent, easy, summer on the deck drinker.

Bottle thanks to Chad. Pours clear orange gold with white head. Nose/taste of citrus, toasted pine, resin, toasted malt, grassy hops and sugared grapefruit. Medium body. Dryish finish.

Bottle at Supermarket, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma and flavour brings out fresh doughy malts, sweet cereal, and piney hops. Good solid pale, but nothing overly special.
