26/1/2023. BIAB at the 14th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours clear bright golden amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of semi-sweet apple, light crumble, caramel, vanilla, woody edge. Quite sweet. Medium body, oily, soft carbonation. Drying finish. Decent.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Orangey gold colour, bubby white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of apple, mucky funk. Taste is fruity, apple, some skin & core, with barnyard funk, leather, orchardy, and drying bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry earthy tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Sample thanks to Danlo: Poured a golden with a white carbonated head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, vanilla, apple, woodsy, bark. Taste is semi sweet apples, carbonated, tannin, caramel, spice.

20/2/2022. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear pale gold with a small bubbly short lasting white head. Aroma of sweet apple, caramel, apple pie, vanilla, light woody funky notes, hint of spice. Nedium sweetness, light tartness. Medium body, slightly creamy, spritzy carbonation. Very nice.

Sample, thanks to Danlo. Cheers mate. Pours a generally clear gold, aroma has light bourbon, butterscotch. Taste has a fine spritz, soft vanilla oak and bourbon blossom nicely on the palate, alongside mellow apple fruit and gentle acidic linger that partners with the carbonation nicely. Really good.

750ml bottle from Wild Cider. Golden colour, white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of fruity apple, whiskey barrel, vanilla hint. Taste is sweet, then tangy, apple, with whiskey notes, a hint of pears, and wood, tannic. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
