Tap at Imazato. Called a hazy pils. Hazy, bright golden color with a low head. Bright citrus hop nose, soft malt. Sweet and fruity flavor, biscuit malt, citrus hops are big, lightly bitter finish. Decent stuff.

First up today is a beer I think suffered from it’slabel with a surfboard evoking a golden brew and summer but the contents being a brown ale. WCB Swell Boi Brown Ale 6% On cracking this can I got a big west coast citrusy pine bouquet. It’s topped with thick dense long-lasting beige foam on a reddish brown body. Fairly full bodied this beer is a great hoppy brown with roasty toffee/caramel notes, sweet malts and delicious piney citrusy hops. Not really complex but really on point. Slap a name and label evoking fall or winter on this and I’m guessing it’d fly off the shelves.
