Part of a 2000¥ flight @ WCB DARK LAB: WCB Cruisin’ 7% Hazy IPA WITH COCONUT Matte hazy orange with a rich seeet coconut aroma. Amazing coconut flavor, very rich, sweet and tropical. Insanely coconut, richly hoppy haze.

WCB X ONE DROP Southern Legends COLD IPA 7% This beer is a slightly opaque gold with minimal foam and a bright hop bouquet featuring very woodsy hops. The taste is full of broken twigs and juicy woodsy hops. Medium to light bodied and bone dry. This is interesting, crushable stuff. Way better than 99% of the cold ipas I’ve had. If they were all like this I might even think this is a style worth keeping around. Tap @ WCB UMEDA

light white golden color. Heavy citrus and tangerine nose. Super smooth palate. But carbonation is too low. It’s nice but not amazing

Tap at Komachi. Deep red, not quite crimson. Low white head. Nose is cranberry, grapefruit, lactic acid. Not particularly impressive. Sharp, sour flavor, grapefruit and cranberry. Crisp. Decent but nothing really pops in this.

On tap. Pours a hazy yellow hue with a medium white head. A big perfume citrus nose. Oily perfume hops, lots of spice, very yeasty. Solid.

Pint. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A big citrus and resin nose. Very smooth, rich, lots of resin and citrus hops, mandarin oranges, lemon bitterness. Great.

16oz @ Matt's new place. Appearance: copper with a beige head. Aroma: phenolic, caramel, fruity. Taste: same, sweet and bitter, lots of caramel and fruity character, like candy. But it lacks the balance. Overall: ok.

500mL can, pours a hazy deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out deep caramel, miscellaneous barrels, toffee, and subdued resinous hops. Flavour is surprisingly complex, with rich caramel, toffee, resinous hops, and lots of barrels. Rich, barrel-y, lots of caramel, brown sugar, toffee, and resinous hops in good balance. Excellent.
