750ml bottle. At the February DCBeer share. Poured a clear golden color with a white head. Aroma was citrus, some whisky, apple. Corn, light smoke and some funky bits. Slight sweetness at the finish.

Golden copper with a white head. A bit of lemon, lightly sour, some barnyard funk, bright spice. Medium bodied. Finish isn’t dry but wants to be. Well-layered and approachable. Very tasty.

750 ml bottle online from the brewery, and split at the Golders bottleshare. Pours unclear amber with a ruby tinge, beige foam. Lots going on here. Malt, oak, minor peat smoke, sour vinous fruits. Medium body with generous carbonation. Slightly prefer the light version over this but both very enjoyable

Bottle via Mills online shop and split with the crew at the Golders bottleshare. Pours unclear burnished orange gold, beige foam. Old English style, funky, oaky, lightly sour. Medium body with generous carbonation. How on earth is this 11%, it tastes way less.

Bottle. Mills online. Soft haze on a medium gold. Fairly thick semi lacing fully lasting white froth. Nose has ripe stone fruit esters. Some pithy fruit. Mills bugs. Plenty of oak. Taste is lightly tart, juicy, a little dry and a little bitter. Clean and juicy on the palate. Finish is maybe a little wheaty for now but it’s easy to see from past iterations it’s on the verge of another Mills banger.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Nose is lime, white grape, gooseberry jam, white grape, lychee. Taste is lemongrass, lime, green apple, white grape. Tart, dry finish.

Bottle via the online shop. Pale amber with a good lasting white foam. Nose is all on the hops here, first off. Sorachi comes through with lemongrass and light coconut. Restrained citrus. Back of that there’s Mills funk and clean oak with semi sweet malt throughout. Taste is juicy semi tart and nicely bitter. As per your best Mills it drinks like pop. Juicy semi tart lightly bitter finish. Top tier.

75cl Bottle shared by Sir Alex and Mads M. Pours cloudy purple with a small head. Massive Blackurrant and green elderflorwer vibes. Super juicy. Tasty. Something in beteeen Antidoot and Cantillon or lamvinus and mamouche.
