Glass at Fu. Pale white, lightly nigori, not all thick and gunky. Milky, fruity nose, citrus and yogurt. Fruity citrus flavor, milky, light vanilla. Not heavy and thick, but rather light and slightly spritzy the way I like nigori. Nice stuff.

330 ml bottle from Tokyo Station. Dark dark brown pour, beige to brown foam on the top. Nose has some sansho (I am pretty sure they have used it here, otherwise it would be difficult to get that perfumy character). Herbal and medicinal, light liquorice. Label is saying tea masala, ok, maybe that's the culprit then. Taste has more of this medicinal spiciness, not too much of it but still a lot. I am not the biggest fan - although it's not badly made, just not something I look for in a porter.

330 ml bottle from Tokyo Station. Darker orange pour, somewhat cloudy and with some white foam. Nose is relatively perfumy, some resiny hops, bit herbal perhaps and sweeter malty body recognisable underneath. Taste has some good bitterness and sweeter background - but not the greatest balance. Still decent.

330 ml bottle from Tokyo Station. Pours hazy orange, some white bubbles on top and some of them are quite persistent. Nose is quite fruity, esters there with some light bitterness as a base. Quite well balanced and fruity, flowery, even rosy nose. Tastes clean, medium body, light bitterness and more of these fruits. Not too sweet but well balanced and quite enjoyable.

330 ml bottle from Tokyo Station. Pours hazy yellow, somewhat white with nice white head. Not too persistent but stays. Nose has fresh banana, light cloves, super fruity esters there, light yeast spices, liking this. Taste is well balanced, good body but not heavy, fragrant with light citrus and some fruits. Light yeast spice tingle in the back. Light bitterness in the finish. Surprisingly fresh and tasty, did not expect this.

720 ml clear and frosted screwcap bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7%. Imported to Europe by www.yoigokochi.eu .Cloudy yellow colour, no carbonation. Some zest floaties. Fresh citrus aroma of yuzu. Sweet and fruity / zesty acidic flavour, loads of yuzu fruit, tastes better than any other sake I've had, no doubt due to the yuzu. I love yuzu.

Tap at Craft Beer Picnic, now listed as 6.5% ABV. An opaque orange brown in Colorado and with a ring of light beige foam and a fruity hop bouquet that features orange and mango. The medium body gives you substantial malty caramel sweetness which the hops counterbalance with mango and orange creamsicle notes. Pretty good.

Hazy muddy amber color. Biscuity malty nose with some tropical fruit notes. Medium full body, slightly sweet and definitely malt accented but lots of tropical hops in there as well. Nice beer, but pretty much old school 90s IPA.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced in Japan. Pours perfectly clear gold with a frothy, white head. Nice aroma, some pissy hops, lemon peel, pithy grapefruit, dry pale malts. Light to medium sweet flavour, with nips of melon, lightly tangy tangerine, a dash of urine, subtle piney bitterness, crisp pale bread. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, with licks of resin, cat pee, melon, citrus fruits, tangerine, supporting pale bready malts. Overall, this is a really nice IPA. Very drinkable, concise. I quite like it.
