Tap at Osaka BeerFes 2022. Rich caramel, herbal hops, cherry, nuts. Amber colored. Smooth and tasty, with a dry, bitter finish. Nice but not all that special.

Clear colour. Powerful great aroma. Mandarin and marcipan. MOderate marcipan flavor. Again some citrus/mandarin notes. Long nice finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

720 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Sauda. ABV is 11%. Slightly hazy golden to orange colour, no carbonation. Aroma of plums, rice and exotic woodwork, hints of mushrooms and nuts. Medium sweet and slightly sour flavour, notes of plums and rice, some woody notes too. Unusual, interesting and quite good.

Sampled as Heiwa Craft Porter Short-lived rusty cream head over near-black beer. Nose of lavender and blueberries, very perfumed, bit liquorice and melanoidin-rich malts. Lavender going into malty sweetness. Again perfumed, quite like some Japanese soft drinks - some spice, plums? Medium bodied, bit slick, but has a rather demure MF. Oh well. Japanese perfume, Porter my *ss. Thanks to Stef!

At Craft Beer Picnic. Big tropical fruit and citrus aroma, taste has light creaminess, bitterness, less fruit but it's lingering there. Quite subtle. Wheaty creaminess. Nice.

Hazy purple pink color. Frothy white head. Nice funky nose of a mirage of berries, fennel and good yeast character. Good yeast character, modest tartness with excellent fruit notes. Dry.Modest bitterness with berries and fennel showing at the end. Pretty damn good and best thing Heiwa has made

Tap at Craft Beer Live 2019. Hazy golden color with a medium head. Lactic acid / yogurt and lemon in the nose. Tart, lactic, lemony, very refreshing and crisp. Good stuff.
