On tap at Chuck's Greenwood, pours a near-black with a small beige head. Aroma has some fusel alcohol notes upfront, with glue and bourbon barrels. Flavour is quite harsh, with notes of glue, fusel alcohol, bourbon and booze. This is rough, with all sorts of rough edges. The glue and booziness indicates something not going exactly right. Needs work.

Very light lemon peel. Hazy yellow pour with decent head. Hop tang cloying finish. Doesn't really work on either level, the dry hopped or the pilsner. Loses crispness of a normal pils and doesn't have enough hops to make it something else. Can.

On tap at Loyal Legion, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright citrus hops, some orange peel, and light dankness. Flavour is full of orange rinds, citrus hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Fairly sweet but well-hopped. A little malty and lacking the bitter punch that I'd want. Decent.

Light amber with a thin white head. Bready aroma. Malty taste with some little sweetness and graininess. Back of tongue balanced finish

16 oz. can, pours jet black with a large dark brown head. Aroma brings out cocoa nibs and a touch of coconut upfront, but it's pretty restrained. Flavour is full of liquid cocoa and again a touch of coconut. Not the thickest or most complex pastry imperial stout; certainly not worth the ripoff price ($13/can). But tasty enough.

16 oz. can, pours jet black with a small tan head. Nose seems very sweet, with loads of bourbon, vanilla and molasses. Flavour is intense, with loads of bourbon barrels -- the barrels have a light-to-moderate peaty character -- along with molasses, oak, and alcohol. Syrupy, viscous palate, but the sweetness isn't as high as I'd expect; the booze cuts down on that. Very well-structured. Great stuff.

Reddish body with white head. Toffee and bread aroma with a bit of fruit. Malty taste with a herb edge.

Super clear amber, copper and bronze coloured body with a two centimetre tall tan head with some thinnish, very fasty-fading bubbles. Aroma of resin, honey, alcohol, grass, flowers and some fruits like apples, pears and even tropical fruits. Medium to barely Full-bodied; Rich malty notes dominate up front with a slight biscuity bite, a touch of flowers, a bit of grass, some dryness from the resinous hops, that all end a bit soft with the assertive residual sugars at the end, but still a tad bitter from all the hops, of course. Aftertaste is clean, fairly sweet, but very well-balanced with a dry note, a good grassy profile, but some tropically and pear-y fruit notes towards the end. Overall, a nice and enjoyable barely Imperial IPA that seems a bit lower in ABV than it is, but less pungent and pervasive than expected, although it is still full of flavours and balance. Great to sample, nice to have fresh from Oregon, but back home on the other end of the country - very cool label, as well! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Portland (Pearl District), Oregon on 27-March-2021 for US$4,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 17-May-2021.

Can. Pours hazy reddish chestnut, small beige head, minimal lacing. Aroma is peat, toffee, bourbon. Flavor is medium plus sweet, light bitter, peaty, ashtray. Medium body. Quite interesting. Definitely polarizing opinions on this one.
