Cloudy, lots of that orange. A touch of tartness, and it's also decently yeasty. But yeah, big time orange.

355mL can, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out citrusy lemony notes, yogurty notes, and a touch of bugs. Flavour is sweet and citrusy, with a yogurty base and sweet lemony notes. Simple but drinkable enough. Decent.

(500ml bottle shared by Richard at Luc's, Oct 19/19) A hazy pale gold pour with a white head. Notes of rather tart peach and even apricot with clear acetic wine vinegar notes, some mineral saline crispness, drying wood, accents of herbs and cut grass, a bit odd overall with too much acetic acid for my taste.

(500ml bottle from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours nearly clear medium gold with a nice thick white head and lacing. Notes of pale yellow tropical fruits and some bitter citrus spiked by nice peppery phenolic hops, moderate wine barrel notes, soft buttery oak, very much on the woody-peppery end of the spectrum, quite dry overall with very light acidity, good funk/phenol/barrel complexity rolling all the way into the dry finish, lingering fruity vinous notes and wood in a long aftertaste. Light to medium body with slick mouthfeel and average carbonation. Wow what a beautiful barrel-aging job here, this was a deceptively simple-sounding beer that ended up being extremely complex.
