Hazy, pale. Not much head. Quite tart, herbal. More spruce than sprucio, for some reason. Good complexity, I like the bitterness here.

Hazy, thin head. Pale. Dullish. Tart, yeasty, vague spruce. That yeastiness is unlike Dageraad and comes across as basic.

On tap at The Magnet. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has lots of straw with a bit of biscuit and a bit of hay underlying. Flavor has bread and light sweet grain with some hay backing.

On tap at Dageraad. Pours a murky yellow with a white head. Peppery Belgian yeast, a bit estery, and some Citra on the nose. Flavour has more of that Belgian yeast character, peppery, allium, some dry pine. Good, but a bit too yeasty on the palate.

Poured from 355mL can (pkg 26-03-12). Chill hazed blonde gold with small white head. Mild mixed-culture tartness with feint berry-like spruce notes, decent.

Slight haze. Thick head, yellow colour. Grainy aroma, similar palate…clean pale malt, light herbaceous hops, medium bitterness. A touch yeastier than thr average kölsch but it’s a good, balanced beer.

Hazy and a bit dull. Medium head. Strisselspalt, brett c, probably brett l… yeah I like that nose. On the palate, spalt bitterness, galaxy florals, and rounded brett, cutting through a slightly sticky pale malt base. I’d love for Dag to work this concept more often…they have the chops to make a phenomenal brett IPA but it’ll take some reps.

Blonde slightly hazy with a big fluffy head. Clean light bready malt. Mild grassy bitter hops not fruity. Slightly spicey peppery dry finish. Very nice Czech style lager. Recommended
